Since 2018, Danish duo Life of a Busker, have built their career the old-fashioned way, by playing music on the streets around the world. Across 22 countries and four continents, the couple has turned busking into a full-time career, growing a dedicated international audience both live and online.
Their journey has led to rotation on Danish radio stations DR P5, DR P4, a performance on Danish TV Morning show Go’ Morgen Danmark, and representation at the Buskers World Cup in South Korea. Along the way, they’ve built a following of more than 80,000 fans through 800+ live performances, who connect not only with their music, but with their life as traveling street musicians.
Musically, Life of a Busker blends soft, melodic pop inspired by Ed Sheeran, JP Saxe and Gracie Abrams. Their songs explore relationships, mental health, and the uncertainty of growing up, often reflecting their own experiences as both partners and creative collaborators.
In 2025, the duo released their debut album Why Can’t I Grow Up?. At its core, the project captures the emotional realities of chasing a creative life while navigating adulthood and a shared relationship.
With a unique backstory, strong audience connection, and a proven ability to engage listeners both on the street and on stage, Life of a Busker is steadily establishing themselves as a rising name on the Danish and international singer/songwriter pop scene.
